HVO is a biofuel that meets EN15940 standards and delivers improved stability and cold weather performance compared to first-generation Biodiesel (FAME or UCOME). HVO is cleaner burning than fossil diesel due to its paraffinic composition, which virtually eliminates the harmful aromatic hydrocarbons commonly found in regular diesel. Alongside significant greenhouse gas (GHG) savings, HVO produces very low tailpipe particulates, which helps enhance local air quality.
