ESL Fuels’ Off-Road Fuels offer advanced, renewable solutions designed for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) applications. Our portfolio includes HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), also known as Renewable Diesel, and GTL (Gas-to-Liquid) fuel, both of which meet EN15940 specification, making them suitable alternatives for agricultural applications.
HVO serves as an immediate solution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, cutting emissions by 83-94% compared to conventional EN590 diesel and GTL, supporting the UK’s 2030 greenhouse gas reduction targets.
This biofuel meets EN15940 standards and delivers improved stability and cold weather performance compared to first-generation Biodiesel (FAME). HVO is cleaner burning than fossil diesel due to its paraffinic composition, which virtually eliminates the harmful aromatic hydrocarbons commonly found in regular diesel. Alongside significant greenhouse gas (GHG) savings, HVO produces very low tailpipe particulates, which can help enhancelocal air quality.
ESL Fuels is committed to providing biofuel solutions that meet industry standards and deliver environmental benefits, supporting sectors such as rail, agriculture, construction and power generation in transitioning to cleaner fuels, all underpinned by certification under the world’s leading sustainability schemes (ISCC & RFAS), without compromising on performance.
These fuels are partially rebated and are not to be used in any vehicle, vessel, machine or appliance that is not an excepted machine.
