Established in 1999, Cheshire-based ESL Fuels pioneered the manufacture of alternative industrial fuels long before anyone was truly aware of the impact caused by greenhouse gases and CO2 emissions. Director, Stephen Whittaker has over 20 years experience in developing speciality fuels for the transport, heating and marine sectors. As sales grew in excess of 100 million litres annually in 2009, ESL fuels identified a domestic and industrial need for a wider range of ecological fuels, which delivered on cost whilst matching the performance of standard mineral diesel.
Extending the product range from its signature heating and transport fuels: GreenFlame and Ultra20, ESL Fuels now provides a full range of fuels developed specifically for the road, domestic and industrial heating, heavy duty haulage and for the marine industry.
Fully compliant with British and European fuel standards and available through some of the country's leading fuel distributors, these products are now produced to a quality and on a scale that has attracted a broad range of industrial, local authority and blue chip clients.
